Resmed – Home Sleep Study
Home sleep study is a limited somnography test that allows patients to undergo evaluation in their own familiar sleep environment, which allows a more natural representation of their sleep patterns.
The purpose of a home sleep study is to identify the presence and severity of sleep apnea, a condition characterized by repetitive pauses in breathing during sleep.
Pulmonary Function Test
Our office is equipped with the PulmOne testing to help our providers evaluate the capacity in which your lungs are functioning. It is composed of a series of breathing tests measured with the device.
The test is conducted under the guidance of a skilled and certified technician in office.
Six Minute Walk/Stress Test
A six-minute walk test is a commonly used clinical assessment tool that measures a person’s exertional capacity and supplemental oxygen requirement. It is often used to evaluate the functional status of patients with various conditions, including heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pulmonary hypertension.
The distance walked in six minutes is used as an indicator of exercise capacity. A shorter distance may suggest reduced functional capacity and may indicate the need for further evaluation or intervention.
It’s important to note that the 6MWT is just one tool among many used by healthcare professionals to assess patients. The results are often considered alongside other clinical information and tests to form a comprehensive picture of a patient’s health and functional status.
Remote Monitoring Devices
We offer an in-home device service for our Medicare patients who would like to monitor their health in the comfort of their own home. Blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, peak flow meters, and smart scales.

Robotic Ion Bronchoscopy / Standard Bronchoscopy
Bronchoscopy is a medical procedure that involves the examination of the respiratory tract, specifically the bronchi and lungs. It is typically performed using a thin, flexible tube called a bronchoscope, which is inserted through the nose or mouth and advanced into the airways.
During bronchoscopy, the doctor can visually inspect the airways, take samples of tissue or fluid for biopsy, and perform various diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. This procedure is commonly used to investigate conditions such as persistent cough, lung infections, tumors, or to retrieve foreign objects from the airways. Bronchoscopy provides valuable information for diagnosing and treating respiratory issues.
